Throughout school, I was deeply invested in calculus subjects, spending most of my childhood and A-Level years focused on Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. But somewhere along the way, I realised that pursuing science long-term wasn’t fulfilling me — I was burning out. I wanted to break away from expectation and follow a more creative path. Growing up, my family always bonded over films; watching something new together would spark conversations that could last for days, weeks, or even longer. That lasting impact of storytelling inspired me to take a leap of faith and explore filmmaking at university. Now my ambitions lie in creating a name for myself within the film-making space.
